Though Brazil has some weirdest accidents which happened on the highway, still it remains the fact that the no. of state highways include 90% of unpaved roads while the mere 10% roads are fully paved and properly built.

BR-320 (The Trans-Amazon Highway) was unveiled in the year 1972. It is a 4000 km long highway, and the third longest highway in Brazil. The total road web is nearly of 2 million kilometers wherein only 2 lac km are paved. The usual speed on the road or highway is nearly 110 km/h which is accepted. The Major Brazilian highway includes; BR-010, BR-040, BR-101 and BR- 230.
