Dive Bonaire - Travel Video. Travelview International.
In the West Indies...
about 50 miles north
of Venezuela lies the crescent-shaped island of Bonaire. An independent
country in the Netherlands Antilles, Bonaire is one
of the most popular dive
destinations in the Caribbean with a year-round temperate climate and up
to 125 feet underwater visibility.
Outstanding dive operators offer uncrowded, personalized trips to
more than 40 dive sites including the recently discovered Rappel. Here
also are the Calabas Reef, a favorite of underwater photographers; and
Hilma Hooker, a shipwreck of notoriety. These sites are home to abundant
colorful marine life: trumpet fish, moray eels, octopuses, dolphins, giant
brain coral, sponges, Christmas tree worms, and sea urchins.
Divers also find a variety of sights and activities above the
water: the Dutch architecture of the capital city, Kralendijk; the salt
pans where pink flamingos contrast with white mounds of salt; and games of
chance in one of the islands casinos. 35 minutes.
Dutch culture, a West Indian lifestyle, and some of the...
best
diving in the world - Bonaire.
